Cutting Fruit Wooden Play Set (3-6 Yrs)

We were gifted this for Christmas and my son LOVES it! But the Velcro did not last long, only about 2 weeks. So now we have to hold it together to cut.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the wooden food items are. My grandson cuts food all day long and loves them!!

The velcro is too weak for the wooden objects. After 1 month of occasional and supervised use, the vegetables no longer stay together and several velcro pieces are missing. My biggest problem however is storage. Surely some type of cover or way to contain the pieces should be included. Very disappointed.

I got this for my daughter when she was a 1.5. She absolutely loved it and would take it with her to every room to practice cutting. I rotated it at 26 months and she still loves it

Love the concept but left disappointed in the quality. The fruit is cracking and the paint is peeling after two months of occasional play.

Five year old granddaughter loved cutting up the fruit and serving it. We are serving it in our newly opened "restaurant " in conjunction with her Melissa and Doug dining set!

Like it but the Velcro isn't holding well. I wouldn't buy this again!

Love everything about the set love the fact that it's wooden The only thing that I would change is some of the Velcro on this product wasn't very secured when you put it back together I'm not sure if it was just in default in the product but that would be the only thing that I would change

I bought this for my little great granddaughter she got a new play kitchen set for Christmas and she had the vegetables that she can cut up that's why I thought sending her the assortment of fruit would go great with her other set she loves it

I purchased this for my friends three year old for Christmas. He absolutely loved it! He plays with it in his little play house. His parents were pleased that I selected a Melissa and Doug item because they love the idea of no plastic, as I do! Awsome gift.

I can't tell you how disappointed my three-year-old granddaughter and I were on Christmas morning. She was so excited to be able to cut the fruit but when we opened the package there was a no knife to cut with! I have used Melissa and Doug products over the years and have been very happy but they really dropped the ball on this one. Especially as a Christmas gift

We have this and have used it for years, so this one was a gift.

My grandson enjoys 'cutting' up the fruit to make fruit 'salad'. The wood knife is a perfect size and the velcro helps to simulate actual cutting.

I don't understand why this is still on the market. I have toys that have lasted 30 years and share with other grandmothers for visits with their grandkids. After a few months, the paint started chipping. One piece was replaced but the others are seriously chipping and the velcro is not working on several pieces. I called and was told I purchased it too long ago. A year and a half. This is going to the landfill unfortunately.
