step 1
Coat your chicken thighs (12) in the hot honey marinade (4 tbsp). Turn your slow cooker to high. Heat 1tbsp oil in a saucepan and brown the chicken thighs in batches, moving them to the slow cooker as you go.
step 2
Once finished, deglaze the pan with 100ml of water, and pour that into the slow cooker as well.
step 3
Add your tomato sauce (350 ml) and lime juice (1), season well and ensure everything is mixed. Cover and cook for 2-3 hours until you can shred the chicken.
step 4
When the chicken has around 30 minutes to go, time to cook your French fries (600 g). Preheat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas mark 7.
step 5
Pop them onto a baking tray and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
step 6
To assemble, pile your fries into bowls, top with the pulled chicken, paprika and chilli butter (1 tbsp), Cornish cruncher sauce (1 pack), jalapeño (1 handful), pickled red onions (2 tbsp) and spring onions (as needed). You can either serve the loaded fries individually or have one large serving bowl for everyone to help themselves to.
