I bought "medium tan" based on the recommendation of a friend who i met on holiday who i thought had a similar skin tone to me but now that my tan is fading i realise its too orange for me. It feels lovely & light on so i would buy again but only if i was sure about the colour. Its an expensive mistake at £29

JaneDee48 04-05-2023 11:38 Nice little compact for quick application I’d heard a lot of good things about this and really wanted to try it. The pressed mineral compact from Pur is a foundation cover and concealer all in one. It covers very well without too much application, and I recommend using the custom Pur foundation brush as it is the ideal size to use with the compact. I use it for everyday makeup as it is quick to apply and smooths and evens out the face satisfactorily without too much fuss. Having an oily t-zone, I find that it requires a lot of setting initially with touch-ups throughout the day, especially as the warmer weather approaches. (I use Bare Minerals Mineral Veil setting powder SPF 25 along with the Pur, which seems to work well). I used the Pur setting spray once, but the makeup melted to an oily mess on my face! So, minus one star only for lack of longevity and staying power. Overall, a nice little compact to have with you throughout the day.

I love it, but I have noticed the last few containers haven’t lasted half as long as the old ones. If anything I wear way less as my skin doesn’t need the coverage any more..
