Preparation and serving

Preparation Instructions: Pan fry- Heat 1 dessertspoon of oil in a frying pan on high heat. Ensure oil has evenly covered the surface of the pan. Add steak to the pan and reduce to a medium/high heat. Turn steak halfway through cooking. Rare- 7-8 mins Medium- 9-10 mins Well done- 11-12 mins. Remove steak from the pan and allow to rest for 3 minutes. Drain off excess oil, place butter into the pan and melt gently. Place the steak back into the pan and coat it in butter and then serve. Do not reheat
