I don’t often need a nightie, but due to a future hospital visit I looked around. I’m thrilled with this! It’s so unusual to find one that’s not pastel, not floral and not with slogans all over it! This one’s great! The colours are just as they are in the photographs, the fabric is soft and although I’m not looking forward to having to wear it(!), when I do, I’ll be more than happy. It’s also true to size.

Disappointed with quality
No, I don't recommend this
I found what I thought was a screwed up old rag at the bottom of my parcel. Strong smell of dye. Turns out it was this nightdress. Looked and smelled better after a wash. But extremely thin cotton, weird tight neckline. Very disappointed but don’t have the energy to return it. I’ll give it to the charity shop. Whatever happened to the lovely quality cotton nighties M&S used to produce?

Perfect colour and material, unfortunately it was uncomfortable to wear in bed as the neck was too high. It was also shorter than expected, my mistake for not checking.

A useful plain nightdress for wearing at any time of year. The fabric is soft and comfortable. My only criticism is that the neck is a little too high and the colour green is so dark as to almost appear black.

I love M&S cotton nighties and this is perfect . Gorgeous colour and looks lovely on and so soft to the touch . I am normally a 10/12 ordered the small and perfect.

I have been looking for a while for 100% cotton nighties this is the 4th nightie i have brought from marks and spencers recently and by far the most comfortable this one is thinner more roomy and a bit longer and keeps shape after washing.

New Nightdress
I ordered on line as my size not available in store. It’s not an expensive item and only for wearing in bed. However I was disappointed that the seam bulged at the bottom so not carefully made. I didn’t return as not worth the effort. This is the disadvantage of not seeing before you buy!

Small fitting
Bought Lge (16-18) I’m 14/16 - so expected there to be plenty of room - not so, this is very small fitting and I’d doubt it would be suitable for anyone size 18. Think size wise it’s more like a 14 to 16. Its also very short - I’m 5’4” and it’s well above my knee - to be fair that’s how it looks on the model but I’d be surprised if the model is my height so I expected the nightdress to hang lower on me. Pattern and colour good, the cotton feels nice and is comfy to wear. Just keeping my fingers crossed for no shrinkage when washed.
