Pure Cotton Midi Jumper Dress

Bought dress as wanted a knitted dress that had a shape, this dress looks lovely on, did think it was a little thin for the cost of the item. I found a pull on the dress, but due to Xmas period decided to keep the dress, managed to pull thread through, only time will tell if it goes into hole. Do not expect this flaw with top price dress.

Needed dress for funeral and it fitted lovely. A lightweight wool dress in charcoal more than black. Worn with a light jacket and kept warm throughout the day.

I got this in green which is a lovely soft colour and not too bright, this dress is very soft and light so good for autumn and also winter with something underneath and thick tights. Smart for work meetings but also for dinner or even theatre with nice jewellery. The length is mid calf and it has a flattering shape of close fitting top and swishing bottom. The sleeves have lovely detail, I would love more colours.

This dress is lightweight which means you'd probably not overheat. Adding a Gilet or jacket would finish it off nicely. This dress skims, rather than clings which is a good thing, if, like me, you want to disguise, rather than flaunt areas of your body you'd rather not draw attention to. This feels nice on, and the different pattern on the sleeves, with their long cuffs, is a nice feature. It's midi length on me, and I'm 5'3, with longer legs than body, which means I'm short bodied, with a high waistline. The waistline for this dress sits on my natural waistline. The sleeves are a bit long, but you can easily push them up, but I do have short arms.
