Marron Waterproof Longline Parka Coat

Nice looking warm and waterproof coat. True to size.

Bought as a gift for my daughter, she absolutely loves it.

Overall I am quite pleased with this coat. Pros: Very warm and waterproof (kept me warm and dry in the recent storm); Loads of really good pockets (an internal zip-up pocket and internal phone pocket, plus two zip-up external pockets lined with fleece and at exactly the right level and angle for me to keep my hands warm). Cons: the external pockets are not waterproof (a packet of mints was reduced to a packet of minty paste...); it is much longer than I expected - I am 5'3" and it comes down to my knees,whereas the photos made me expect it to be mid thigh, and the length means I cannot stride along with it done up (I have a horse and young golden retriever to keep up with) and have to unzip it from the bottom; the hood is enormous and I haven't found a way to adjust it - it means I have to choose between keeping dry and seeing where I am going.

I'm 5 ft 2, size 18-20 and pear-shape. I bought size 20. The fit is good, not too snug, over my hips. As I would expect for my shape, the fit is fairly generous over my bust. It is a good length - more of a coat on me because I am short, it reaches to my knees. I love the style of the jacket; I wanted to steer away from parkas or padded coats, and I find the smooth line of this jacket more flattering. The jacket is warm and windproof. It is well designed, with sensible details such as a snug fitting hood that stays up when fastened, a robust hanging loop, and two inside pockets - one with a zip. I'm delighted with my Marron Jacket, and the brown colour is a welcome change for me.

I bought this primarily for dog walking as I wanted a waterproof coat - and it’s certainly proved that recently! Every detail is great, plenty of pockets, a hood that doesn’t fall over your face and knitted cuffs to keep the wind out. I’m a 10/12 but bought the 10 in grey and there is still room for a thick jumper underneath, very pleased, I would definitely recommend.

Perfect for dog walking, zipp pockets for phone, keys etc. Also an excellent fit.

Very warm winter coat that’s waterproof and extremely practical. Great for watching footy matches on the sidelines in driving winter rain.

This is a well made coat full of useful features. Pockets inside and out make carrying a handbag unnecessary. The knitted wrists keep out the cold.
