One of the best battle packs
Originally posted on LEGO
Yes, I recommend this
As the title states, this is easily one of the best battle packs LEGO has released. It’s affordable, and comes with enemies for the clone troopers to face off against. The builds are slightly lackluster, but nobody’s really buying a battle pack for the builds. The clones look amazing, even with the oddly placed helmet holes, and the inclusion of a shock trooper in a cheaper set is gratifying. The Tri-droid looks really nice even if it is scaled down, and bringing back Super Battle Droids was a really nice touch. I’ve literally bought around eight of these sets because of how affordable and good for army-building they are.

Exciting Minifigs

My son said that he was excited that Lego released the shock trooper, the phase II clone troopers, and the super battle droids. He loves the octuptarra droid and said it looks better than the 2014 version. Great set!

YO LEGO COOKED UP

Boy did Lego cook up. The value is top tier and those phase 2 clones are to die for. I would literally sleep with this set at night. Worth buying five of as a great value. Hope these prices continue!

The better super battle pack

This set is so good when you compare it to the new 327th battle pack. Just buy this one instead.

Easy & Fun!

This set is easy to build and fun to play. You can make just them battle or add other Clone troopers and battle droids to the fray. The Shinies (plain clone troopers) can be combined with any other legion of clones. But on it's own it is fun too. I love that it had a single trooper aerial platform (STAP), a speeder bike, a mobile turret, and an Octuptarra Tri-Droid. I also like that it came with battle droids and super battle droids.

I love this set, it has tons of figures, and has cool alt builds. The title says it all. (Mic drop)

Almost perfect

As someone who owned the original clone trooper BP in 2007. This set is almost there. First, a 327th star corps trooper should've been in this set. Also, helmet holes are bad. And its hypocritical, since there is NOT A SINGLE helmet accessory in this set. Cool to have a return of the super battle droids after an almost 10 year absence. The clone builds are kinda pathetic tho.

Two sets forced to be bought together.
Originally posted on LEGO

Battle packs hinge on their figure selection, and the new super battle droids and plain phase 2 clones are well worth the inclusion, as well as a shock trooper in a cheap set. The builds are fun, harkening back to older packs, and they are well sized compared to the figures, even the tri-droid feels good for the size, and the price feels fair for what you get. However, this is really two battle packs put together so if you want to buy one you are forced to buy both. This is a shame, and a greedy move by LEGO. I hope it does not become normal going forward for these sets which are designed for people to buy multiple of. Super battle droids will likely be in many sets going forward so I do not wish to buy lots of them, but I have to if I want more exclusive clones, and so have to spend more money than I would for a normal battle pack. It is a deliberate move by LEGO that people have bought into, and that doesn't sit right with me.

A great gift

I love this set. If you have a family member or friend who enjoys building Star Wars Legos, it is hard to go wrong with this set. You could have one of this set or 4 and it would still be great to have. It’s great to have both droids and clones in the same set. It also is a reference back to older clone wars sets which is a huge nostalgia boost personally (I’m in my late 20’s) For both young and older Star Wars Lego fans I think I could safely recommend this set.

Could be better, could be worse

This set is a nice filler and the figures are good (though I wish there was a super battle droid with a grenade launcher arm) and the STAP is nice, but the tri-droid is way smaller than a to-scale one would be. The “defensive position” looks really dumb, I’d rather have a heavy repeating blaster.

This will go down as one of the best battle packs and for good reason. While there is so much to praise about this set, the highlight for me is the Octuptarra droid. Such a fun & cool build that I'm happy to have in my collection.

Excellent for price, Tri-Droid and STAP are perfect, plus 4 clones and 5 battle droids, only real complaint is that the speeder isn't a BARC speeder, but other than that it's very good.
