Like slathering lard on your body!
No, I don't recommend this
Having just finished my tub of aloe vera moisturising body cream (which was lovely), I bought a tub of body butter, thinking it was the same. What a mistake! The body butter is thick and sticky, doesn't absorb easily and leaves you feeling as though you have been covered in lard. Please, please can we have the body cream back? It was smooth and creamy, easily absorbed and pleasant to use, unlike the body butter

Really like this body butter
Yes, I recommend this
I have been using this moisturiser for a long time now and have found it very good. It is not too greasy and my skin feels good after using it. It was a bargain price this time. Would definitely recommend this.

not nearly as good as the body creams
No, I don't recommend this
I totally agree with the previous reviewer. I've been using Nature's Extracts body creams for years and they were brilliant. Just the right consistency, and left your skin feeling soft and silky with no stickiness. M&S, why have you stopped selling them? I've tried the aloe vera, shea butter and cocoa butter body butters - all take much longer to be absorbed and leave your skin feeling tacky.PLEASE BRING BACK THE BODY CREAMS!

Lovely Body Butter
Yes, I recommend this
I have only recently discovered this range of body butters as I previously used another well known company brand which gradually became thinner and not a body butter at all. So, I was delighted to find this range in M&S. The range is exactly how a body butter should be, thick and rich. I use it every morning after showering and apply it all over. The smell is lovely, as is the coconut, fig and orange, vanilla etc. I am more than happy with this product so if you want a body butter that is rich and creamy and retains the moisture in your skin leaving it soft and smelling lovely, then this will be right up your street!

Butter is a good description - won't rub in
No, I don't recommend this
This body butter is a real disappointment. It is thick and lardy and hard to rub in. Does not leave skin feeling smooth or refreshed. The Aloe Vera Moisturising Body Cream was a much better product. Please bring it back!

Not consistent!
No, I don't recommend this
I have used several of these butters before and found them wonderful. Having settled on my 2 favourites the Aloe Vera and the Coconut, I recently stocked up again only to find that they are now much thicker - too thick - they don't rub in and leave your skin feeling very tacky. The previous mixture left skin feeling very velvety with a lovely sheen - just like more expensive body butters. Sorry M&S not sure if I have bought from a bad batch but won't be buying more!

Husband has really bad skin and normally uses aqueous cream by the bucket load during a acute episode with his skin I suggested he used m and body butters and they do the trick but after trying all the varieties he has discovered the aloe Vera and loves the smell so we have a tub of this in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and a drawer full as back up, please m and s don't stop making this its the business
