I bought this for a special meal on New Year’s Day. Very poor …good ish flavour but tough to chew through…. we have had better quaLity steak at our local pub!

Meat looked amazing in packaging and tasted even better was so tender, jucy and full of flavour, the jus was full of flavour and looked beautiful on the plate with seasoned veg

No, I don't recommend this
The presentation of this is lovely and makes you think it should be really good but the taste is not only very bland, but surprisingly nasty. The steak is nice but I have no idea what is on top and it isn’t very nice and leaves a truly horrid aftertaste. There is an almost metallic taste to the porcini and cream cheese sauce which completely obliterated the meat and the jus is plain yucky - not at all meaty. The packaging suggests there is dried thyme, parsley and some spinach in there but I could not taste any of them and if they are there I think it is more like dust swept from the floor. M&S does some lovely food but when it goes wrong it does so, big time. I’m afraid this is one of those.
