A light golden beer brewed with English Challenger hops and American Mount Hood hops. The hops and fruit on the palate are balanced using the finest East Anglian Maris Otter malt that combines to produce a sublime bitter finish.
This is a light golden beer brewed with English Challenger hops for bitterness and American Mount Hood hops for its distinctive clean citrus aroma. Dry hopping before bottling gives a burst of flavour on the palate and a subtle bitterness that lingers beautifully. Golden ale
Yes, I recommend this
I bought this as a gift and my Brother in Law and he was thrilled with it. Incidentally, I had previously bought a case of Belgium Beers, my Son in law said they were great, the blonde beer in particular. He hadn't bought M&S beers before and was impressed

A great alternative to Oakams Citra
Yes, I recommend this
I have been a great fan of the Oakam breweries move towards American hops but some, in my opinion have become rather "samey". Therefore this one makes a refreshing change - it has a restrained taste but is better for it. It is more sherbet dab than lemon and grapefruit and it is this that make this ale so easy to drink. The Citra based Ales can become over powering after a while so why not try this as a welcome change.
