Delivery / Collection during Covid-19
All deliveries and collections are contact-free, and we ask for your support in maintaining a 2-metre distance from our furniture delivery team.
Your delivery will be made to a room of your choice (unless specified as “delivered to your door”), providing social distancing can be maintained. On arrival, the delivery crew will unpack, position and where applicable, assemble your furniture (exclude “delivery only”). We will not be asking you to sign on our handheld device to accept delivery, instead we will take a photograph of the item in your home as evidence of delivery. We will make contact on the day of delivery to confirm it is still convenient.
We have safely resumed our Furniture Collection Service and Disposal Service. We are happy to collect your furniture from the room it is currently in, provided social distancing can be practiced. If it is practical and safe to do so, please move the item to a convenient and accessible location close to your front door. This will help us to minimise the time we are in your home.
Please note our delivery and collection service may be subject to change due to government and local lockdowns.

Where we deliver
Furniture ordered through the .com website can only be delivered to the mainland UK, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver furniture to the Orkney Islands and there are also some postcodes where we cannot deliver, please click here for further details.

When will I receive my order?
When placing your order online or over the phone we’ll provide you with an estimated despatch time. If you’ve ordered multiple items from us your estimated despatch date will be for your entire order and be based upon the product with the longest lead time.
As soon as your orders ready to be despatched you’ll receive a text or email from us asking you to select a specific delivery day.
Two days before your delivery, we will text and confirm your 2-hour delivery window. You’ll receive messages from us on your day of delivery letting you know that we’re on our way.
Please allow an additional week for delivery to Ireland.
Can I choose a delivery date and interval during the day?
Can I change my delivery day / address
We need three full working days’ notice to (not including the date of delivery) to be able to amend your delivery date or address. Any changes required after this date will incur a £25 fee and could cause a delay to your delivery.
If you’ve paid for your furniture by an interest free loan, you’ll need to visit your local M&S store to make any changes to your delivery address.
Will M&S take away my old furniture when my new furniture arrives?
This service is ordinarily available for upholstery, mattresses and beds, but please note the points below. This service must be ordered with your new product and cannot be ordered after you have placed your order.
Removal charges are £39 for upholstery (per item) and £29 for mattresses and beds (per item), e.g. disposal of two sofas would cost £78.
We will only collect products from the same address as your new furniture is being delivered to.
The product(s) will not be removed if infested, wet, heavily soiled or dangerous to remove.
You must arrange for bedsteads to be disassembled prior to collection.
Additional delivery timescales for Ireland
Orders placed for delivery to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may take an additional week.
Exporting furniture abroad
If you are planning to export your furniture abroad, please make sure you are completely happy with your product before shipping as we cannot arrange international collections or administer after-sales assistance overseas. Please also check what customs formalities are involved, including payment of export or import duties. If you intend to export your furniture abroad, please contact our customer service team (0333 014 8111 for the UK or 0353 1695 0741 for the Republic of Ireland) and they will assist you further with the process you should follow.
If you wish to return your order, you have 14 days starting from the day after your products have been delivered.
All products returned must, when received back to us, be in their original re-saleable condition. Deductions from any refund may be made by M&S for any excessive handling, such as: the disposal of the product’s original packaging, or where an item has been partially/fully built.
There will be a collection charge of £25 (€35 for the ROI) in total (which will show as a separate charge).
Please note that in all circumstances, you are responsible for any loss or damage to the furniture before it is received by us (except where caused by us), which will be deducted from any refund made to you. Our crew will take photographs of the relevant products on delivery to document their condition.
Our goodwill refund policy, which can be found within our General Terms and Conditions of Sale does not apply to furniture. Once your cancellation right of 14 days has expired, we will only give a refund in accordance with your legal rights, for example, if the goods are not of satisfactory quality or as described. Once the item with the current selling price and delivery fee is selected, you can choose to either confirm the amendment(s) or cancel your order.
If you wish to cancel your order, please do so as soon as possible but no later than three days before delivery. Please call our customer service team (0333 014 8111 for the UK or 0353 1695 0741 for the Republic of Ireland) and they will cancel your furniture order and arrange a refund.
You will not be charged to amend or cancel your order, provided you give us at least three clear working days’ notice (not including the date of delivery) before your originally agreed delivery date. Any changes after this point will incur a cancellation fee of £25 (€35 for ROI) in total.
Please check your order confirmation documents carefully and ensure that the item, style, colour and quantity of the products stated match what you have ordered. If the details are incorrect or incomplete, please contact the store you ordered from or our customer service team (0333 014 8111 for the UK or 0353 1695 0741 for the Republic of Ireland) as soon as possible. Please see our Contact Us page for more details. You may add items to an existing interest-free loan with us, provided there is available credit within the contract agreement.
Before you place your order, it’s important to check your furniture’s dimensions and ensure that it will fit into your home through all access routes (internal and external) and into your chosen room.

If the product does not fit or if the access route is not suitable, we will be obliged to cancel your order and you may, at our discretion (to take account of our reasonable costs), incur a £25 (€35 for ROI) charge, which will show separately. You will be refunded for the purchase price.
