Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 4.

Unroll the pastry (1 sheet) onto a flat baking sheet and score a line 2.5cm from the edge to form a border. Prick all over with a fork.

Spread the pasta sauce (1 jar) on top of the pastry then grate over the pecorino (50 g). Top with the olives (12).

Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg (1).

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is puffed up, golden and cooked through and the cheese is bubbling. Tear over some fresh basil leaves (1 handful) and serve.
