2 Sonoma™ Light Dining Chairs

Have other pieces in this range so I did not hesitate to buy 2 sets of these chairs in the grey option. Delivery first class but this item is left for you to unpack and dispose of the packaging. While this is not a problem I was disappointed to find 2 chairs damaged and some of the lacquer a bit blotchy in parts. I realise that natural wood will vary in colour and markings but blotchy lacquer is unforgivable considering the cost of these chairs. More quality control needed me thinks to avoid extra deliveries and cost in manpower. They were replaced but still one chair looks a bit blotchy in places but I hope it will settle down as it ages. Otherwise a very comfortable, stylish chair.

I bought the Sonoma table and 6 chairs. We only have 4 chairs at the table as 2 are only needed when table is extended. We use two chairs daily, unfortunately within a few days of use the leather seat pads are showing signs of imprinting and saggy. We are alternating use of the chairs. I am a little disappointed that this is happening so soon as I have only had them a few weeks and just hope the pads don't get worse. I go like the look of the set and feel the wood and make is of good quality, it a shame about the seat pads.

Although there is strength in they're design they are rather heavy to lift. However they complement my existing oak furniture and I am pleased with my purchase.

I have two of these chairs to accompany the Sonoma extending table and bench. I also have two leather chairs at the ends of the table. These Sonoma chairs are of very high quality and fit under the table when not in use. They are very sturdy and the seat pads have good quality leather covering a memory foam type filing which gives wonderful comfort. Highly recommended.

Nice design, comfortable to sit on unlike some that are stylish but impractical as they hurt your back. These can be sat on for a leisurely meal without any discomfort. As with most modern chairs they are not light in weight although not the heaviest we have tried. This is not a problem for us as they slide easily on our tiled floor. They fit perfectly under our Sonoma dining table and do not stick out when not in use.

Surprisingly comfortable dining room chairs. They are solid and stylish, using excellent quality wood and leather. My dining room suit gets a lot of use and these are more than up for the job! Very happy indeed!

I purchased the Sonoma Light Extending Dining Table, 6 Sonoma Light Dining Chairs and Sonoma 3 Door Sideboard as a present for my son and his girlfriend as they had just bought a house together. Not cheap as we had looked at many others from other manufactures but decided that M & S spoke quality therefore went for one of the most expensive options. The goods all arrived on time as agreed but one of the chairs was broken and had to be sent back. Really disappointed as they were a gift and my choice of M & S did not live up to the dream. Thank you M & S for the upset.

Great chairs which look lovely with the Sonoma table and bench I also purchase. Good solid chairs which I hope will stand the test of time.

Viewed these chairs before having a good look around to see what was available on the market, went back to M&S because they were the best value, style and quality I had seen. I am not disappointed they look lovely in my home.

One the chairs delivered was marked, two subsequent replacements dented. Very disappointed in product quality.

Good. Match the other furniture. A bit heavier to move than the previous chairs but very comfortable.
