Winter Stride Waterproof Hooded Parka

As someone who struggles with the cold I always struggled with outerwear which kept me both warm and dry. Puffer type coats were fine for dry but cold days but I struggled in damp conditions. This winter stride parka coat solved that problem. It’s quite heavy but has a full fleece lining (hood included), covered zips, big pockets and drawcord waist to keep it snug and the winter elements out. This stood up to rain and only started seeping after extended outdoor use in constant wet weather. The only thing it would benefit from would be an inside pocket. Great purchase and would have loved in a khaki green or similar but black is super versatile

Love it but do wish I’d bought a size L … I have the longline parka raincoat & M was fine so went on this … I should have made sure by trying on ! Great coat though …

I initially held off buying this despite loving the colour as I’d assumed that the description ‘parka’ meant it was just a single waterproof layer. It was only when I saw it in the sale and saw a review mention the fleece lining that I realised it’s actually a cosy winter coat! It’s fully waterproof and wind proof, with a proper button over zip fastening so no cold air gets in the front and the cuffs have adjustable cuffs to keep out the chill. The body is lined with fleece but the arms aren’t and seem to have a thin insulation layer. Good roomy flap pickets at the front which hold plenty plus two angled and lined side pockets for putting hands in. Like the inner drawstring to cinch the waist in as it’s flattering. The only thing I’d improve is the back vent as it’s quite high and lets in the chill. Size wise, I’m a 10, 34d-27-38 and bought XS and this still had plenty of room for movement and even for layers or a gilet. This is a great coat for British winter weather - snow, wind and rain.

Adore this coat. So warm and light as well as proven to be fully waterproof. Haven't resorted to my usual Winter Coat since. Stylish and practical. Love.

I had been looking at this coat for ages and just could not justify spending the amount of money for a coat to walk the dog in - but given that walking my dog is one of my greatest pleasures, and after such a miserable and cold winter, I decided that I needed to look after myself outside. Am I glad I did! This coat is so coat and warm, it is wind proof and water repellent and I have had so many approving comments when I wear it.
