Striped Tailored Fit Cotton Jacket

The body length was jsut right for me, but the sleve are too long and i'll have to get an inch taken off before I can wear it.

This was a good buy. I like a lightweight, unlined summer jacket, and this fits the bill. The colouring is more peach than pink, but it isn't bright and the jacket makes a nice contrast to a pair of blue chinos or jeans. Less convincing perhaps if matched with beige trousers, but then, I do like a contrast between separates. The weight is good - I have a similar one in blue stripes bought a year or two ago, which is heavier - and the fit is better than the plain blue/beige/grey tailored fit pure cotton jackets that M&S are doing this summer. I'm that awkward shape, where regular fit can be a bit loose, but some tailored fit stuff a bit tight. This is just right. The button stance could profitably be lowered - I realise the current vogue is for higher stance buttons - and the sleeves are too long - have had to have them altered. Sleeves at M&S do seem to be getting longer...

Good for warm weather, but chest/shoulder is too small comapre to the other blazer of the same size, retured.
