I recently purchased the Salcombe Coffee Table from M&S, and I’m very impressed with the quality. The table has a great, heavy weight to it, and the materials feel sturdy and high-end. Assembly was straightforward even with it being delivered flat-pack. The only downside was the delivery experience – the waiting time was longer than expected, and the app’s delivery date didn’t match the actual arrival. Plus, the delivery charge seemed a bit high compared to other retailers. Still, the table itself is fantastic and makes a beautiful addition to my living room!

Unfortunately while putting the table together my husband overtightened the screws and damaged the top of the table which cracked in four places. There was no mention in the assembly instructions of the danger of over tightening the screws and a simple solution would be to provide washers that would prevent this happening. We tried to flag this up as soon as it happened but had great difficulty finding an e mail address so may have sent it to the wrong place as we received no reply. Would it be possible to have a replacement top?

Very attractive, sturdy table, which I am using as a television stand. It easily takes a 55" TV. It was very straightforward to assemble, with clear instructions (so I was told!!). I am very pleased, and would highly recommend it.

The table arrived and I unpacked everything to find the screws etc. for assembly. M%S had packed the wrong set of screws and bolts so I was unable to assemble the table. Now have to wait another 2 weeks for another to be delivered.
