Like this jackets cos of colour, warm shearling lining ton body but not sleeves so keeps me toasty but not feeling over bulky, and is good length and practical and stylish. Got with 20% off which made it great value.

Lovely warm coat and as described by M & S everyone is wearing the faux fur jacket this season. I like the idea that the code to alter the waist size is inside the coat and not on the outside as this can often cause bulk around the middle of the body which is something most of us can do without. Pockets deep and very useful. The lining is so great and is warm and cosy. All in all not a bad word to say about the coat love it !

It's the jacket that you always grab whether to hike, bike or go for a walk when it is cold outside. It seems like it has always been in your wardrobe and you've had it for decades. It is warm, fits well - size is true - can adapt to rain, snow or chill. I'm pleased with my purchase.

This jacket is fab. I missed this last year as M&S sold out, so as soon as I saw this on line it was a must have. Good looking, warm, good fit although I would go for one size larger if you need to wear a jumper underneath. Well done M&S.

This lovely waxed jacket is a lovley colour (wine/berry) and a nice style, shame the pockets are on the front and not to the side and the size was a little on the small side especially across the back.however the next size up didn`t fit either so had to take them back

I was thrilled to purchase this jacket in Marble Arch branch at the beginning of September. I have a new puppy and was looking for an ideal jacket to walk Maia. I loved it at first and received many compliments from my dog walking group. However, on the first heavy downpour in October I was soaked through to my underwear after only 10 minutes of walking from my home. I reluctantly took the coat to my local M&S store who returned it to Quality Control with my complaint. The jacket was returned to me stating that it isn't advertised as shower or waterproof. I wasn't expecting any other reply but the jacket should have a label on that informs the purchaser of this. I wear the coat on cold dry days, but will never trust it when raining. Big shame, because it is really stylish. I will always check before purchasing in future.

Stylish coat, warm and can be easily washed. Worth the money.

I'd been looking at this coat for a while and needed something warm for the winter to walk the dog in. It's a lovely coat with big deep pockets so need to carry a bag and has been absolutely great - however, I was misled by the wax finish. Have been caught in two downpours since purchasing and have ended up with wet clothes - unfortunately the wax does not make it waterproof so if that's what you're looking for I wouldn't recommend this coat. Otherwise it's great!

Having read the reviews I was disappointed to see size 12 burgundy was sold out on line. I decided to try my local store and they were also sold out but decided to try a size 10 and was so glad I did it was perfect. Love the style, love the burgundy colour, love the lining, love the collar and I don't mind the fact the hood is attached, means I won't forget to put it on. Love it.

Tried this and the Indigo Collection one which is very similar. Agree with the other reviewers that this one is a tad on the small side but my normal size 12 fitted ok. A 14 was far too big. Like the warmth in this one and think it would make an ideal Winter coat but find it a bit bulky. Also dont like the fact that the hood isnt detachable like the Indigo Collection coat. The fur on the other coat is nicer, it has more embelishments which makes it look more modern but this coat is still a very nice casual Winter jacket.

I was two minds about this jacket. Loved the navy colour and warm lining however did not like that the hood was not detachable. It has a hood, collar and then detachable fur collar all a little bit too much, and the hood with the collar (even with taking the fur off) made it look a bit 'frumpy' and old ladyish. Would have kept it if the hood had been detachable.

I bought this coat last year in Khaki but had to buy another in 2013 as I'd lost a lot of weight. Once again it is smart & fits me very well. Just the right length. The actual khaki colour looks a cross between the online plum & the khaki versions, but I prefer this. The 2013 version has the waist drawstring inside which is better & the hood now has a drawstring so it can be adjusted. The removable faux fur collar is a better colour . The waxy finish helps to make the coat water proof. The sheepskin lining is very cosy. This coat is just the thing for Autumn days & with a warm jumper/gilet it's good for chillier winter days too.

I had this coat last year in khaki and loved it because it comes up quite small. I'd call myself a size 8 but most m&s clothes in a size 8 are way too big. This is a perfect fit, so I'd say its true to size. I have just bought the navy this year which is equally as lovely. Well done M&S!!
