Montego Sofa

Looks much nicer in the picture. Sofa is too deep and cushions slip down so not at all comfortable. Returned.

I normally shy away from writing a purchase review, leaving it to others. However I am amazed that I am the first to leave feedback on this range of furniture. I can only think that the self assembly aspect has put some off purchasing, although 'self assembly' consists of only putting the cushions on the already assembled frames! M&S you should amend the description/detail on this product! I ordered a Sofa and two chairs, It is has a very sophisticated look to it yet has a total karma 'Zen' feel. The quality of the finish/wood is excellent and I am sure that outside ageing would only enhance, but I probably will treat it once a year with an oil to keep the finish looking good. I had an absolute downpour just after delivery/unpacking and the cushions are definitely water resistant . However M&S still supply a very strong clear plastic zip up storage bag for each cushion (which will be great in the winter if storage is not possible inside). The seat cushions are firm but comfortable, however I may consider upgrading the filling in the small back cushions to give a little more support (easier enough to either buy some foam and cut to size, or bed pillow filing may be an alternative). But it would not have deterred me from purchasing. At full price this would still have been a wise purchase at sale price I am so very happy that stock was still available.
