Leather Chukka Boots
Yes, I recommend this
I like the boots they fit perfectly they look smart especially with the red laces. Just a bit worried about the wear on the soles

Good sturdy boot
Yes, I recommend this
Picked these up for my husband in the sale, very robust and sturdy looking but could easily wear under jeans to work, not too much like hiking boots. Quality seems good - not sure it needed the extra pair of snazzy red laces though!

I bagged a bargain

Saw these on site and thought they looked good. Bought them for only £39 they were £89. The size fitted as expected. Only one gripe: the laces supplied were a bit on the short side when tying a bow. Would recommend these to others.

Disappointing boots
Yes, I recommend this
When it says “would you recommend....” I would recommend they look at these boots but compare them to others in the marketplace and make their own decision. PROS:- Soft, comfortable leather, flexible, lightweight sole, D-ring lace holders a la hiking boot style plus they come with a choice of lace colour/style (waxed black or dark blue braided hiking). CONS:- Completely flat, wedge sole (no gap between heel & front of sole) so look a bit ‘Herman Munster’, the sewn-in, waterproof tongue is too floppy and lacking in structure, so doesn’t sit in the right place (as you walk it goes off to the side). The alternate laces should be more of a contrast (my choice would be red instead of dark blue). Finally, I think the sizing is a bit on the small side; I ordered size 12 and my big toes were right up tight against the inside of the toe cap without enough room to wiggle (would have been painful to walk after a while and/or worn holes in my socks). Not ‘really bad’, but not ‘really good’ either, just a bit disappointing.

I haven’t warn them in anger yet. They seem as advertised. The only issue for me (and it could just be me) is that the top eyelets it studs annoyingly rub my ankle bone so they std not best placed. I will persevere using a plaster or thicker socks be calling them out. Had to purchase blindly online as not available in store.

Not for me
No, I don't recommend this
I felt you almost had to completely undo the laces to get your feet in

Disappointing Size and laces are short
No, I don't recommend this
The right boot is fine but the left is slightly small. The laces are not long enough and as a result keep falling out of the loops each time I take them off. Which means I have to re-thread each time I put them on. For the money I am disappointed and wish I noticed before I started wearing them. I could have then sent them back.

Great for use in bad weather
Yes, I recommend this
Bought a pair of these boots last week just before the snow and ice arrived..They fitted perfectly, but of course I tried them on prior to purchasing them. They kept my feet very warm when walking through the snow, and I didn't lose my footing at all as the soles kept a good grip..Would certainly recommend.
