Floral Print Velvet Long Sleeve Top

I loved the look of this top. I read the reviews and ordered a size up. sadly it was far too big and my usual size was sold out. I had to return it.

This top was very pretty and warm, but I had to return it,as the first time I wore it tiny sparkly bits came out of the fabric onto my clothes.

I read the reviews which said it was a small fit, so I went up a size. First mistake - the larger one was HUGE!! Second mistake - there are three seams in the back which are not visible in the pictures. Really uncomfortable when leaning against a chair back or driving. Yet another purchase to be returned to the shop. :O(

This is good value it’s a nice jumper that will take me anywhere. The velvet is lovely and I think it will be a nice jumper for Christmas time .

I ordered this in a 16 & 18. The 16 chest measurement was 38!!!! In my book this is a size 14!! I kept the 18 as it was so lovely. The material and pattern will go well with navy velvet trousers for Christmas, Although the Website states there is 8% Elastane, I did not find there was much 'give' in the top but lovely all the same! The 3 stars reflect the sizing only!!!!

Nice fabric but it was too big so I had to take it back.

Loved the fabric- felt very luxurious. Quite thick. Came up a bit small for me and it didn’t sit right across the front - the drape wasn’t flattering. Returned.

I am usually a size 10/12 depending on style. I ordered a 10, too small, then a 12 too small. Size 14 was not available. I have lost out on a beautiful top. M&S why don’t you bring out some more velvet tops and dresses for us older women. The velvet dresses you have are too short and there is only one velvet top that is too small. We older women also love velvet.

The material is lovely and the fit is both comfortable and flattering. The top looked beautiful online but is even better in reality. I hope that the design will become available in other colours and patterns, as the cut is excellent.

The shaping is good on this item and the sizing was accurate. Nicely made.

Unfortunately this pretty-looking top was returned as the fabric was extremely synthetic, my fault perhaps for not interpreting the composition details correctly online but it was "nylon" like and I think it would be very hot to wear.

This top can be worn with jeans as well as smart trousers and fits perfectly - I have received compliments whilst out socialising.

This is truly a lovely top stunning rich colours has a velvet feel to the fabric great for a dinner date too nice for casual wear would go with trousers or skirts.

This is a stylish and very attractive top. The shaping is flattering and sits well on the hips. The only complaint is it is a bit small, I usually buy size 10, but needed size 12. Other than that comment I live it.
