Floral Print A-Line Midi Skirt

Like another reviewer, I thought the fabric was very odd: more like an upholstery fabric. The thickness made the panels of the skirt stick out like a child's party dress. Also, I ordered 2 sizes thinking that I would be happy with one of them and would take the other back. However one was a little too tight and the larger one too loose. I had ordered a red jumper to wear to make a Christmas outfit but did not even try that on, just took everything back (and bought in store where I could see what I was getting).

I was looking for a skirt that would be good at Christmas and at other times. I loved the red which was not too bright as so many skirts in the shops in winter are so dull. Just the right length for me and the slight flare is flattering. i find too many skirts are either above knee or too long and swamp me .

Bought this as a versatile skirt ( as everyday and to dress up) and was not disappointed. The fabric has some substance to it so is good in the cold weather.

I was this skirt in the shop and really liked it because I felt that it was slightly unusual. I ordered it online to make sure that I could get my size and length. Size 12 fits me well but I would have preferred it to be slightly shorter

Very heavy material - very gaudy - and more suited as a throw or rug. Returned item for refund. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing online

Nice skirt for everyday wear or to dress up for the evening with a nice pair of heels. I have worn this with a pale grey top but also looks nice against white.. What is there not to like - lovely pattern. I am very pleased with my purchase and unlike the other review it is fashionable too. I can only say that it is a perfect skirt = well done M&S

Said it was long, showed on 5' 10" model, I'm only 5' 2" so thought it would be long enough! How wrong can you be!! It barely came to my knee! It said it was pull on, it does infact have a back zip and button! It looked nice online, but when I saw it, It resembles the material of what an old sofa from my grannies era would look like. I really think M& S clothing has gone downhill and fast, normally I would have purchased at least half a dozen skirts by now, but haven't bought any since Summer 2016. Come on M&S get your act together before you lose us loyal customers altogether!

Having seen a picture of this on the website I looked for it in the London Colney store today and found just one in my size 12 long which I purchased. The colour , fit and style are very good but as is often the case with M&S the description is not accurate . Not only is it not a dress it is not even pull on skirt , having both a zipper and button fastening .Does anyone check the website details ? Lack of quality control at M&S does not stop with an inaccurate product description because as I put my purchase onto the hanger at home I noticed that the waist band had not been sewn together properly and it was already coming apart . M&S is going to have to do better than this to retain my interest in making clothing purchases because as a lifelong customer I am sick of having to return yet another item .
