Elixir Activ Mid Gore-Tex Walking Boots

Great shoe! My first Elixir last for more than a year. This shoes are a quality product. Thinking about the second pair.

I finally gifted my husband his own pair of Salomon's based on my Love for them! I purchased mine 9 months ago because of the BEST EVER large toe box & overall comfort of entire shoe rocking design! Even with my thick, customized orthotic flat-foot insole, there is still lots of toe and heel room to make daily wear superb! My husband's shoe fit is also excellent! He has high arches and struggles with ankle/joints yet his new pair provide needed support. He is active and now can enjoy hikes and daily wear with these Salomon's withOUT pre-existing discomfort. I also ordered a pair for my sister whom struggles with plantar fasciitis. She loves the rockng design of shoe and large toe box. I can say more yet I think you get my drift ;) ENJOY your new pair(s)!

Hiked about 40 miles in these on vacation last week and can't be more pleased. I specifically wanted water resistance because we were headed to the Pacific Northwest and the Elixer worked perfectly. Hiked comfortably in the rain and puddles and muddy paths with dry feet. I would buy again.

When I initially put them on, I thought they would be very tight and uncomfortable as they squeezed a bit. However, went out for a couple mile walk and they stretched nicely and were very comfortable and so lights as well.

As a professional hiker and athlete, I’m genuinely impressed by the Salomon ELIXIR ACTIV MID GORE-TEX. The design and color are absolutely stunning, modern yet rugged enough for the outdoors. The fit is incredibly comfortable and wraps around the foot perfectly, almost like it was custom-made. One of the standout features is the weight, it strikes the perfect balance between lightness and stability. You can feel that you are in full control of your movements, not the shoes. The grip design is phenomenal, almost like a supportive backbone under your feet, offering real confidence on uneven terrain. Movement feels fluid and natural. I’ll be starting my field testing in Spring 2025 and can follow up with more feedback based on long-term use. If that’s helpful, feel free to reach out. Bought these shoes on a recommendation from a hiker i met in the ADK. Initially they took a couple wears to break them in but once there they are so comfortable. I wear them mainly at work but have also ventured outdoors with them and no issues. Solid shoes for anything

Bought these for husband and he loves them! Very lightweight shoes but can withstand hours of trekking around the countryside or walking around the city. There's plenty of room for the toes to move and the footbed holds the foot nicely. The ankles feel supported with the cushioning. There was no breaking in shoes pain from the first wearing. The grey tones of the footwear look great with slim dark jeans or slim dark, smart work trousers. He's so happy with them that I bought myself a pair from the women's range on his recommendation.

The shoes are very comfortable. I've only done a couple of hikes so far, but they fit great!

I bought these a month ago. Such a game changer for every day and golf that I bought two more pair to sit in the shelf.

There's a cheap touch and a lot of glue traces. They got a strange look, like something wrong with them. Maybe they are manufactured defaults, but I don't think I gonna wear them. They are not sooo comfy like the description pretend. Really disappointed.

I usually use wide shoes and was afraid I was going to have to make a return. Fortunately I can assure these are somewhat wide as standard and have had a very comfortable fit from them.

I really like these boots. I wanted to switch to lighter boots after wearing heavy and sturdy backpacking boots for many years. Elixir Activ is almost twice lighter, but my feet felt just as much support as in the heavier boots. Unfortunately, the tip of the nose started to peel off just after two hikes. I hope warranty will fix this.

Second pair, very comfortable shoes. Great for outdoor activities or chasing the wife down at the mall. Keep up the graet product.
