Denim Collared Midi Shirt Dress

Good quality, great fit, nice details... looks classy!

This is really my type of dress. I mostly go for full skirts as I have have quite heavy hips but the back of the skirt was huge and had darts which ended in very strange places. It looked fine from the front but the back made my already ample hips look huge! In terms of the rest of the dress, the bodice was a good fit and the sleeves were a good length. The fabric was a bit stiff but may have softened over time as it’s not actual denim. It has pockets but they are very tightly fitted to the dress so were no use to keep your hanky in! Needless to say, I sent the dress back.

I bought this because I love denim and this dress looked just what I wanted - sleeves, fitted, denim. The fabric was very good quality and lovely to handle. But the sizing and style were weird. The shoulders were far too wide, the bust far too tight (I’m an hourglass and it was a squeeze to get it to button up) and the skirt was very wide across the hips. The sleeves were awful - they flap about and stuck out. Very, very disappointing. Naturally it went back.

The sleeves were huge!! One could be airborne in a high wind, really excessive. Very much like a uniform, denim not great
