Cotton Rich Oversized Utility Jacket

I bought this as it looked stylish, in reality it was very fitted and not suitable to wear over anything. I had to pay to return it which has put me off buying again as cannot trust sizes.

I tried this in XS-S which says size 6 to 8. I'm usually this sort of size in Hush tops. Sometimes XXS if the item is oversized. This jacket came up very loose on me but it's a classic cut so the sleeves are a slimmer fit. I found it to be get square in shape and the shoulders were far too wide on me. It made me look a bit swamped and it felt too masculine as well. I'm finding this a lot with Hush lately with tops and jackets. What happened to the standard sizing, 4, 6, 8 etc. As the clothing is often a looser fit, the XS-S is proving to be too big and the styles are so squared off they look too unfeminine. I don't like the sleeves cut to the elbow on tees either for the same reason. It's a harsh look too. Please Hush, could we get standard sizing back and also soften the shapes a little!

Absolutely love this jacket and I know I will get so much wear out of it.
