Comforting, sweet and sticky, this crumble is super easy to make thanks to our ready-made oaty crumble topping. We’ve used bramley apples and sticky plums, but it would be equally irresistible with whatever fruit is in season.

step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.
step 2
Peel, core and roughly chop the apples (3). De-stone and roughly chop the plums (6) and arrange in an ovenproof dish (approx. 20 x 30cm). Spoon over the syrup (3 tbsp) and dot the plum preserve (3 tbsp) around the fruit.
step 3
Combine the sugar (1 tbsp) and cinnamon (1 tsp) in a small bowl then sprinkle over the fruit.
step 4
Add the butter (100 g) to a small pan over a medium heat. Cook, swirling now and again, for around 5 minutes, until the butter looks brown and smells nutty. Stir into the crumble mix (1 pack).
step 5
Top the fruit with the crumble mix and bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown. Serve with the custard (1 tub).
