Cawl is a traditional Welsh stew made with meat and vegetables. There are many different versions made with whatever produce people have in their larders and fridges, with recipes often handed down from generation to generation. Ours is made with lovely Welsh lamb – enjoy it with crusty bread and chunks of Welsh cheese.

If you can't pick up lamb neck in the Foodhall or on Ocado, any cut of lamb will work for this recipe.
