Bought deep fit for mattress of same size. Fabric same on both sides of cover, and so far no sign of any friction against the mattress itself. Previous covers with polyester backing have torn the mattress and aged it. Cover is very good quality, not cheap but if it protects an expensive mattress then it's worth it.

I've been buying sheets from M&S for decades but these are the all time best! They feel absolutely luxurious - soft and silky - and although expensive are well worth the money. They also fit my new Tempur mattress (which is even deeper than my previous one) like a glove. I absolutely love the ones that I bought and am going to replace my old sheets with more of these.

Check the cotton rating before you buy. Looked incredibly cheap / really shiny! And wow so warm which is the exact opposite to what I was led to believe bamboo was.
