Not a very tight fit - wrinkles all over the place

I ordered this sheet as my previous one from M and S was a deep fit and as we don’t have a deep mattress it was wrinkling all over the place. Carefully measured the depth of our mattress and ordered this but still the same problem.

The fitted sheet is abou 3 inches too large the fabric folds up underneath you whilst asleep not very comfortable. I will have to make it smaller.

The sheet is fine except that there are two small areas where a darker colour thread has got into the white weave. I didn't spot this when I examined it after receipt and only noticed when I was fitting it on the bed a couple of weeks later. This doesn't affect the integrity of the sheet itself but I suggest is something that should really have been picked up by the manufacturer's quality control team.
