Bought age 7-8 for 8 year old and 5-6 for 5 year old. They fit ok on the leg - a bit baggy but ok but the waist band is huge. I would have returned but my daughters ripped all the labels off! Now my 8 year old is wearing the age 5-6 ones and they still have a gap around the waistband! My girls are both slim but can usually wear PE shorts in the correct size for their age I’ve ended up buying cheap supermarket PE shorts for my youngest and they fit much better. These shorts also looked better quality than standard girls PE shorts in photos but actually the fabric feels quite thin.

They are fabulous quality, design and style with seams and made of strong stretchy material, ideal for active little ones! Good value for money and knowing marks will wash and wear well. Brilliant.
