Comfy Shoe but Poor Quality, Disintegrating
Originally posted on us.puma.com
Read great reviews about these shoes and are really comfy, great for running and training, but after a month the front edge has started peeling and the logo on the top of the shoe has started to peel, maybe they a defective pair. I don’t wear them all the time either. Shame I can’t post photos.

This shoe had a poor fit. Toe box was too narrow. Hurt my toes.

The best running shoe for the price I've ever used.

Narrow shoe with even natural feeling support.

Feels very natural on my feet. This shoe was recommended to me bc of the narrow fit for my narrow feet. Compared to other narrow fit shoes but this one felt the most natural with even support. Love it!

Still Great Shoes

Compared to the 2s, these are a little narrower (but not enough to size up; I wore my normal size 11) and have less ground feel (which is expected because of the increased stack height), but still a great shoe for racking up miles. A quirk of my stride is that I overpronate on my right foot, which typically causes wear on the inside of the sole instead of the outside. In these shoes, the wear pattern on my right foot is much closer to the outside and almost symmetric with my left, so my conclusion is that it's providing more support. That's not a fun and exciting detail, but an even stride is a positive. I put 300 training miles into this shoe on my way to running my fastest 5K since high school (18:31), and it still doesn't show nearly the wear of the 2s, which I retired after a little over 200 miles.

First time trying puma. Pros 1) really solid grip. the grip is LOCKED to the ground when I run. 2) even spread on the shock absorption. 3) I took the white as it was bit subdued in look 4) laces tie pretty well never came loose when running. You can tell from the moment you use them. 5) great price point for an average runner. Cons 1) got a blister on a single point (right foot only). Could be the socks bought some performance socks to address this. 2) Colour selection was limited. Wish it had some more options. 3) can’t throw them in the washing machine like some other brands. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Great update!

Nice update from V2, a bit higher stack for a little more cushion and responsiveness. Maybe even more NITRO for the next model? Great value compared to competitor offerings in this price range.

Premature sole wear

I am not happy with the Velocity Nitro 3. On my first run in the shoe for 4.3 miles, the rubber on the back outside corner of shoe almost wore through to foam. I had several pair of the Velocity 2, which I liked very much, and had wear in this over time but never to this extent. The Velocity 3 is nothing like the Velocity 2 primarily due to the increased stack height. The Velocity 2 was much more responsive and durable.
