Set of 2 Bradshaw Chair White

This was an exceptionally good buy. Arrived in less than 24 hours. Excellent packaging and very well made and finished. We are very happy with these chairs for a kitchen table.

Lovely quality chairs with a good finish. They are heavy and very stable and look good even round my rectangular table. Slightly disappointed that the seat height is not actually 50cm as described but between 46/47cm and I would've liked the extra height for sitting at my existing table. Be prepared for a trip to the tip after delivery. They are well packaged but perhaps a little excessive when we are trying to cut back on packaging. I had 4 bin bags full of polystyrene sheets, 4 hardboard sheets, clingfilm wrap,,plastic wrap and 20 heavy card L-shaped strips. And two huge boxes!

The chairs are very well built and really sturdy! Don't shake or wobble at all. Came fully assembled and really well packaged. Ordered after 18 in the evening and the next day at three.

Good functional but stylish.

The chair seats are very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. The oak frames are poorly finished, being rough to the touch. I expected better quality from M&S. I have returned them for a refund.

I have a small flat with a combined kitchen/diner/lounge, and the Bradshaw set is perfect for my space. I'm really pleased with the materials and build quality of the chairs - the finish on the seat and backrest is smooth and even with no chips or rough edges. The curve of the back rest is uniform and the seat a perfect circle. The seat is large, but it's designed to be a perfect circle to match the table, so this makes perfect sense and I think it's aesthetically pleasing. The build and finish of the legs and rest of the frame are also at a high standard. As well as eating at this table it doubles as my desk, so I've spent a while sat on the chairs already. The seats are comfortable and, for me, the backrest is at a good height and titled back enough to be comfortable to sit back in. I only have two chairs at the moment, and when not in use they don't sit so far under the table that the backs are against the tabletop edge, so they don't move all the way "out of the way". But if I had four chairs none would have room to slide all the way under anyway, so this isn't really a negative - it is, after all, a small set for my small space. The set was delivered really quickly (Thursday) after ordering on Monday, and was very well packaged. I've had bad experiences with poorly packed furniture deliveries before, so this was refreshing. Inside the boxes, both chairs (pre-assembled) were individually wrapped in foam sheeting and polystyrene - a lot, yes, but I wanted my chairs intact so I was pleased with this. I consider this set an investment (It's more than I'd normally pay without hearing my father's stern voice in my head...), but I really feel already that it's money well spent for a neat, modern and well-constructed set of furniture.
