Very comfortable and stylish trousers which can be worn casually or smart with a jacket or blazer. The fabric is soft and comfortable and does not irritate my husband’s sensitive skin.

Disappointing flexibility in the waistband .

The waist is not as flexible as earlier versions of the same trousers. There is very little ‘give’ in the waistband of 38” trousers.

After buying trousers that my husband has worn for years, same size, i was most disappointed that the save trousers that he's worn for years were totally wrong sized.

Sizing seems smaller than usual

Decent quality, but the sizing seems smaller than usual for M&S which is normally so reliable on consistency of sizing. The cut is slimmer cut than I would expect for 'regular'. These observations are despite ordering up a size from my previous pair of M&S trousers. If it hadn't been a last-minute distress purchase for a funeral I would have returned these based on the sizing.
