Excellent quality. A bit longer than usual for 29 length. Just not enough short lengths and small sizes 32 waist in the London shops. Always large and extra large.

The trousers are lightweight, well-made and of good quality fabric. They are called 'regular' fit as opposed to slim fit. However, the still slightly taper at the ankle? Why? What's the obsession with this 'skinny' style. Why can't they just go straight down like good old fashioned man's trousers. My father is 88 he likes them but they are not as nice as the pair from M&S (from 15 years ago!) that these replaced, because of said reason.

Poor Chinos Trousers
No, I don't recommend this
Poor attention to quality finish. These trousers came with a double crease on both trouser legs dangling threads on the hems, and a zip that sticks. All of these issues should have been spotted in quality control. Accordingly, instead of being pleasing casual wear, they were only suitable for functional knock about purposes.

I need light weight trousers to wear on a cruise to hot countries. I am a bit large around the waist but my legs are not fat and these trousers fit perfectly rather than being really wide on the legs. The fit is good and the length at 31" is perfect even though I am a 40" waist. I am 73 so one does tend to get a bit portly but these creamy/white trousers are most comfortable to wear. I can sit down without the waist digging in or the crotch cutting into my nether regions, a very well designed pair of trousers.

Bought these for my husband - he is unbearably fussy about clothes, trousers in particular. Hates them too tight, too wide, too long and a dozen other things besides. So I'm delighted to report he secretly likes these so much, he wanted a blue pair as well as the cream. He admits the quality is 'pretty good', the comfort is 'yeah... great' and the overall look is 'reckon they'll do okay'. M&S please note that these comments are high praise indeed from a man who is usually, NEVER impressed. Please do some more colours while we're on a roll.

Great fit - they sit on my waist (unlike a lot of trousers nowadays) and are super comfortable with the comfort waist feature. Not too narrow around the calf so they sit really well on any kind of footwear.

For trousers which are described as "regular fit", they have very narrow legs which I didn't expect. Other than that, they are a nice weight of fabric and well finished.
