Deeply Disapointing
No, I don't recommend this
I have been buying these particular jeams for some time now and have loved them. However I have just taken delivery of three new pairs, all of which are quite different from previous purchases (buttons, stitching and quality of fabric). These new ones look at if they have been worn, washed and ironed many times and are a huge disappointment, I shall be returning them. I've given one star, as 'no stars' is not an option.

Not sure about the magic shaping?
Comfortable, yes, around the hips. Definitely high waisted, but not dead straight - they do taper slightly towards the ankle. Size 10 regular is true to size. I’m not sure about the magic shaping: I find my stomach seems to stick out more in these than other jeans I own.

Although jeans were perfect fit, the colour of the jeans "BLACK" were not as described as they were faded black and as I needed them for an event, so I didn't have the time to send back for exchange, I was very disappointed for the first time with Marks and Spencer hence the score of 1 star

I was really quite excited to find these in my size 18 long but I couldn't zip them up. I usually wear M&S size 18 but I will have to size up. They looked like a good quality jean and I liked the lighter shade for summer.

Fabric quality has changed
What has happened to the fabric for the indigo jeans? I've been buying these for years and these jeans are an essential for my wardrobe. However, my latest pair, the quality of the denim is really poor, a much thinner fabric that feels really poor quality. The legs have gone wider and a few cm shorter than usual, so they look awful too. Is this cost-cutting/change in supplier? I'm really disappointed.

Not what I expected. The jeans are very comfortable and the High waist fits perfectly. However the shape of the legs is not quite right and although I ordered the long size they are not long enough. Once you wear them for a few hours the knees bulge and the shape of them looks weird. Too late to send them back at that stage!
