good quality summer dress, generous fit. happy with purchase

This is dress is so comfortable to wear, I wear it for work, but also with a denim jacket to go to the local pub. The only thing I would say is that it’s about 3 inches below my knee as I’m 5ft 2in and it wasn’t available in petite

I had bought other Seasalt items and liked the look of this dress. As soon as I opened the bag, I was immediately taken aback by how good it looked, the quality of the dress and how well it fitted me. I am an older, larger lady and the length and fit were perfect. Was a little disappointed with this dress . Did feel the quality wasn’t good for the price , it came up big so go down a size . Even though I went down a size it was still a generous fit , the length was bit too long , came below my knee and pockets were a bit too low down for my liking . I returned the dress .

Flattering shape and well made. I bought 2 sizes as other reviews said ‘it comes up big’ I found this to be the case and needed the size 8 rather than 10

Really like the style and fabric of this dress. It is a large fit. I am normally a 14 but had to buy a 12. It’s lined which makes it comfortable to wear. I love the fabric and the style and look forward to some decent weather so I can wear it. Only negative is the cost...it is rather expensive for a shift dress.

I have often been in the Seasalt shop but have never actually purchased anything - so thought this would be a good time to try as I like the idea of M&S selling other lines. The fit was fine, and it looks nice enough on but I didn’t think it was a wow dress especially because of the price which I think is high because of the label. Style is appropriate for my age. I did think about returning it but decided to keep because I do like the style and colour.

I bought this three weeks ago. I love it, being of a age where clothes are more difficult I was delighted with this dress. It even made me feel smaller! but fitted very well at size 14. I have not washed it yet so cannot express an opinion on that. I would definitely recommend to the more mature - especially as it may make you feel great, being a size smaller!

I love Seasalt clothes and already have this style dress in a different colourway (from Seasalt directly) and used an M&S voucher to put towards this one. It is so well finished, lined, even though the description says it isn't, colours that pop, can be dressed up or down, and lovely soft cotton/linen. It's so much better quality than the last few dresses I've tried from M&S, ok it's more expensive, but you do get what you pay for.

Bought this because I liked the style, and it’s similar to a couple of Laura Ashley dresses I wear a lot. I wasn’t disappointed, it’s a beautiful dress, very comfortable and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Pockets are a bonus, and it’s fully lined. It doesn’t seem to crease easily, so perfect for packing. It’s slightly generous in size, but I was happy with that, as being larger on top I sometimes have to go up a size which often makes dresses loose around the hips but this was fine.
