Shame about the shade
No, I don't recommend this
I was delighted when I first unpacked my lamp. Beautiful sleek lines, lovely colour, it fitted into my room perfectly......and then I switched it on. Sadly this lamp is let down by the quality of the shade. Instead of giving off a nice glow, you can see the shape of the bulb through the lamp which seems to make the light from it quite harsh and unattractive. I’ve tried soft glow, opalescent, golf ball and candle. The latest is a large globe, warm white and although that’s marginally better than the others, it is far from perfect.

Absolutely love this lamp after seeing it by chance in Gemini store. The ladies in the Furniture Dept were great and encouraged me to order on-line (better packaged than taking the store one away!) Fab customer service and a gorgeous piece. I agree with all the reviewers though about the shade: it is poor quality and see-through and should be better to match the quality of the lamp stand.
