Warm yet light.

Female but bought a man's coat as I'm broad in the shoulders and have long arms. Lovely and warm but not heavy. Lots of pockets, plus the handwarmer pockets at chest height can be used for that as well and have a useful two poppers each. You don't have to reach all the way down the coat to get at the zip and the extra studded flap over keeps the warmth in beautifully. Only criticism is the massive hood. Even with the cord tight it falls forward over my face. An adjustment strap at the back woukd have been a useful addition.
