Bodycon Dress

I am afraid I had to return this dress which I bought in the sale so have reviewed on that basis. A lovely stylish dress but not for me.I was sorry to return it but would never have worn it if that makes sense.

The style and the material is reasonably good but it is heavy on the body especially at the bottom. The top part measures the same in size 14 and 16 which is odd! I had to take it back for a refund

Very nice dress however ,as the other reviews have written, the fabric has no stretch it is therefore tight to get on/off.However I still managed to get my normal size 14 to fit. Fabric is good and it hangs well, helped by being lined.It did crease but being black it was less noticable. The label said 'Other Items' available but I could not find anything. Given we are in autumn I required a jacket as the dress was purchased for a funeral, luckily it worked with an existing jacket, but I would have preferred an exact fabric match. Excellent value for money, in fact if I were still working I'd buy the camel version as well.

Having bought a similar style from M & S two years ago I was delighted to see this fully lined dress available in both camel and black and purchased one of each. Delighted with the fit - its very flattering and perfect for work under a blazer, jacket or cardigan. My only request is to M & S buyers - PLEASE can we have these dresses in colours other than black, navy and camel? How about red, dark green, purple, pink, yellow maybe?! Just because something is described as 'workwear' doesn't mean it has to be black or navy

I am a 10/12 and I managed to get the 12 on but had great difficulty getting it off. The material has no 'stretch' in it which you need for a fitted dress. When the dress is on it still is not a good fit in the bust area.
