I bought this as a present, they thought it was a nice jacket , keeps you warm with two zips at the front, they felt if you want extra woolies underneath you might need a bigger size as its a snug fit.

I needed a new winter jacket that war warm and comfortable. I bought size large. I normally wear size medium for jumpers. The jacket fits perfectly in large size. I would have preferred a zip pocket on the front outside for better ease of use. This said the quality of the garment is of highest quality

I bought the same jacket, but in a different colour two years ago. This jacket is a tighter fit than the older one. Why should this be. Do the M&S buyers actually try on products to see if they are the correct sizes ?
