Denim Midi Skirt

I knew as soon as I tried this on that I was going to keep it. It fits perfectly and is true to size (I am a 12 and the 12 fitted perfect). It is a really good length on me and I am 5ft 4ins I would say it is the same length on me as the model. Good quality denim and its a nice change not to have any stretch which can be a blessing but also a curse when it stretches too much. Like another reviewer I too wasn't too keen on the raw edge (thought It was a bit too young for me) but I have overlocked it and now although it is a raw edge it isn't frayed. Very pleased with this skirt and will be getting a lot of wear out of this in the winter months (and next summer) really good value for money.

It’s not obvious that this skirt has an unfinished hem which simply makes it look cheap and unfinished. The shape, length and design are otherwise good although the size comes up small. I usually buy a 12/14 in an M&S skirt but this came up very snug for a size 14 too. Been gifted to a friend.

I bought this skirt expecting it to be a good basic denim skirt. However, it was massive round my waist and tight over my hips which was hugely unflattering. Sending it back... Wouldn't recommend for anyone who has a significant difference between their waist and hips.

I ordered 5 skirts and kept 3. This was one I didn’t keep. It was just too long and didn’t fit well on the hips. The quality and style are good but just didn’t look right on me.

Skirt not true size and frayed hem very disappointing.

Had been looking for a thick demin skirt for a while and was pleased to order this one online. Great fabric, great fit, the hem, however was a major disappointment. It is simply the cut fabric with threads hanging down and no stiching to prevent further fraying. I do like the skirt so have taken it to a tailor to have a hem put on it. £7!
