Cropped Kickflare Trousers

These looked smart and would hold their shape all day, so great for the office. They are super stretchy and I'm sure would be comfortable, however they were very big around the waist and caped on the lower back so I'm returning.

I know these are cropped but not sure they are cropped enough to not look like little sisters trousers - usually I get the regular length but have ordered the short to see if they look better. Agree with another review that whilst pockets are nice, they do add a bit of bulk so if they did this style again I would prefer no pockets or just faux pockets (just zips to add detail) as they have on some other trousers. Cream is a light beige and nice option for summer - would like to see other colours as well as standard black and navy - eg. turquoise for summer, maybe a berry for autumn and a nice grey colour.

Very 70s in style in a thick jersey. Unfortunately the sewn in centre leg seam was an unwelcome surprise. More like a 70s ski trouser than the Audrey / Riviera vibe I was after.

Size 12 too small, size 14 too short

I assume that other reviewers bought these trousers when there was no mention of them being a cropped style. Not so in my case, the description clearly stated they were cropped which is why I bought them. I have been looking for a bootleg cropped trouser for ages and couldn't resist purchasing. I am 5'6" and bought the regular and they sit about a couple of inches above my ankle. Although I love having pockets, I do feel that this style doesn't warrant having them as it adds a bit of bulk to the stomach area and mine doesn't need any more bulking!!! Furthermore, although the material has a little bit of stretch, the waistband does not and it is a little tight for me. I'm still keeping them though because they look great on. I just won't be tucking any tops in at the waist!
