Christmas is coming, and what better way to celebrate than to party with some of the most stylish stars of Instagram? (Plus get their top outfits tips, of course)

Natalie Lee @stylemesunday

What makes a great Christmas party outfit?
It’s all about the sparkles – go blingy, fun and fabulous!

What’s your No 1 party beauty tip?
A bright, bold lip colour. It draws attention away from tired eyes, so is great if you’re feeling partied out.

Which celebrity would you most like to go to a party with?
Tracee Ellis Ross, Diana Ross’s daughter. I’m obsessed with her Instagram – she wears the most fabulous clothes and I basically want to nick her wardrobe.

What’s your ultimate Christmas party food?
Pigs in blankets! I end up eating about a hundred of them.

Zoë de Pass @dresslikeamum

What’s the most important thing to consider when choosing a party outfit?
If you feel good in it, you’ll project confidence. Wear something you absolutely love, not an outfit simply intended to impress people.

What song always gets you on the dancefloor?
It doesn’t take much to be honest – I love a bit of disco!

Dream celebrity you’d like to party with?
The Queen.

High heels or party flats?
Party flats.

What would you like to receive this Christmas?
Good health for my family and friends.

Danielle Vanier @daniellevanier

What’s your idea of a showstopping party outfit?
A slick of red lippy, statement earrings and a killer leopard-print jacket.

What beauty product can you not live without come party season?
A setting solution to keep my make-up on.

What’s your favourite Christmas song?
I love Last Christmas by Wham.

Do you prefer presents before or after lunch on Christmas Day?
All throughout the day!

What are you hoping for this Christmas?
A new niece, as my sister-in-law is due to have a baby.

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
It’s acceptable to have a Baileys at 10am.

Fran Bacon @thefashion_lift

What’s your top tip for a great party outfit?
I like a dressed up, dressed down look – like sequins with jeans and heels.

Which celebrity would you like to go partying with?
Bradley Cooper, 100%.

Favourite Christmas song?
Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You.

What’s your No 1 beauty tip for a Christmas party?
I like slapping on fake tan, because in winter my skin is really pale, and I look drab. Apply a good fake tan the night before, wash it off the next day, and you’ll feel better.

What’s your top tip for hosting a great party?
Plenty of drink, a great crowd, a really good playlist, and more booze.

Presents before or after lunch?
Before. Straight away!

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas time?
The kids going downstairs and opening their presents – and seeing their faces. It’s the most magical thing, I love it.

Erica Davies @erica_davies

What makes a great party outfit?
Don’t make a huge departure from your usual look – just add a bit more glitter and glitz.

What song always gets you dancing?
Teardrops by Womack & Womack.

Mulled wine or champagne?

Which party food can you never resist?
Sausage rolls – anything in pastry really!

What would you like to find under the tree this Christmas?
If my husband bought theatre tickets and sorted a babysitter that would be ideal.

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Everyone’s all together and you don’t have any plans – it’s just about hunkering down, putting the fire on and being with your family.

Kat Farmer @doesmybumlook40

How can you add a touch of festivity to any outfit?
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to partywear – choose something you will wear again and add a little touch of Christmas interest, like a bag or pair of earrings.

Which celebrity would you love to party with?
Claudia Winkleman.

What’s your top tip for hosting a great party?
Get somebody else to do all the work for you. For me it’s all about having people around and enjoying their company, rather than spending hours prepping, so I’m happy to buy food ready-made.

Champagne or mulled wine?

Presents before or after Christmas lunch?
We split them – stockings before, big presents afterwards.

What’s your dream party food?
A canapé of any kind. I could eat nothing but canapés for the entire festive period.

What do you want to find under the tree?
I’m really looking forward to having a house full of people (not necessarily under the tree).
