No, I don't recommend this
A couple of years ago I bought similar M&S trousers for my son, and till today they are strong until he grew out of them, that’s why I thought to replace them with these new ones. But unfortunately the quality isn’t the same! These new ones feel thinner or not sewn properly. Reason’s why is on his second wear they ripped around the groin area, which isn’t ideal as it happened in school. I had to double sew them back to remain intact.

The same size as last years trousers at a lower age! This 12-13 years and we have 11-12 years and they are the same size no bigger!! Not good & the last 3 years I’ve found that the trousers are not getting bigger!

The legs need to be a bit wider, we tried the 13-14 and the 14-15 and there wasn't really that much difference in the thigh circumference so we had to go with a different make as they were too tight. He's got a rugby player build, not everyone has skinny legs.

Bought these for my son who is larger than standard size. Love the fact that M&S provides the option of a ‘plus’ waist size. It’s particularly important when the recommended school uniform shop doesn’t have this choice. Additionally, these trousers are excellent value and good quality. I buy these every year as they are now a staple part of our uniform list. I highly recommend them.

School trousers that fit
This is the second year I have bought the plus waist school trousers for my grandson. They fit him comfortably around his waist when the regular waist just won t fasten. I don t know any other outlet for plus waist school trousers but these are a good fit and the leg size is in proportion (not too baggy)

We always have used M&S school trousers for our youngest as the fit our son well and are made with quality materials. They are plus waist trousers but they could be bigger. We have a 7 year old that currently wears 10-11 year old trousers, but they are very long.

Poor quality, total waste of money

Really disappointed in quality of these trousers, first pair sustained a ripped knee after a not unusual tumble by my 9 year old son on first wear. Second pair lasted 2 wears before hole appeared at the crotch after son over extended leg during a game. Suggest reinforcing school trousers like what is standard for other brands. I’ll go back to my previous high street brand who has practical school wear. Total waste of money

The quality of the trousers are not they have been before. I buy them from you due to the softness, but this time it was like any other super market bought trousers. My Son can still fit in his 9-10 wide fit, but these ones are not the same
