XA Pro 3D V9 Gore-Tex Trainers

These are my favorite salomon shoes. I've been buying these for years and will continue to do so.

The initial break-in of these shoes is a little rough, but it only lasts for a day or two. After that, the shoes perform well. I've used these on regular hikes, casual walks, scrambles, and 10+ mile trips. They're still holding strong and are still comfortable.

Great features. The gore tex works great. It is nice disk golfing shoe.

Good quality and feels comfortable even after longer usage.

I bought these and thought they were waterproof. I work on ice and I guess it has a whole in the front of both pairs because my socks gets wet all the time. I just bought the shoes less than a month and in the first rainy day working, I got my socks wet. I didn’t even used the shoes for a week and this happened to it. I’m also willing to change my shoes with another Salomon as I really like the quality and material. It was my first Salomon I bought and I’m happy but I wish they were waterproof because right now they are completely useless for me and doesn’t have any difference with a cheap shoes. I’m just looking for a shoes which is waterproof and doesn’t make my socks wet Thanks

This is my 3rd pair of the XA PRO Gore-Tex shoes. They have all held up well and protected my feet from the elements and terrain. If you are looking for a low cut hiking, trail running or just walking shoe, these are it. Durable, water proof Gore-Tex, with a great grip. I will continue to buy these as they wear out.

I have put in over 100 miles on all kinds of terrain, these have held up and still look and feel great. Awesome support over uneven terrain, I would reccomend these any day.

Shoes fit well, feels comfortable and stable. Lace quality overtime is to be determined.

Over the years they have continually removed features which reduce the durability. Still having a pair from ~2015 that has plastic guides for the laces to slide through without cutting the fabric still in use and these news ones having none, is design obsolescence to force more purchases. Do better Salomon.

Great lightweight trail runner that is true to size.

Tough bottom with soft sole would buy size up next time as the front bashes my toes very waterproof

C’est ma 3e paire de ce modèle. Du confort mais aussi du soutien sur tous les types de terrain en cross-country. La semelle adhère bien même sur des sols mouillés ou glissants, les crampons ne gardent pas des quantités immenses de boue, et le Gore-Tex garde les pieds au sec.

I spent a few days near Escalante, Utah, hiking to waterfalls and through slot canyons, while regularly hauling a 5 year old on my back. The shoes held up well. They might not have the best padding for hauling heavy loads. But for hiking rough terrain, they're dreamy. The external material doesn't even seem to stay that dirty--sheds it off somehow. And the laces do such an awesome job of cinching down in a balanced way around the foot. Great shoes. I'm impressed.

I’ve been using XA Pro 3D V9 GTX since I first started trail walking back in 2018, and they are my go to trail trainer, this is my 5th pair. Once broken in they are like a pair of slippers on my feet, combined with Injinji Toe Socks I have not suffered a blister. All my previous pairs have been thoroughly put to the test, covering 100km plus in under 24 hours, without a single issue. A top quality product, that I will always come back to. One thing though, could we have some more vibrant colours please. My first pair were bright green, then grey, black, white & pink and now light green and white. Could we have the bright green version again please?
