I ordered the M&S long-line brown, linen waistcoat for a friend’s wedding and wanted a pair of slim, ankle-grazer, smart trousers to go with it… these are perfect, lovely fit, the ivory colour compliments the dark brown, and just the right length (I’m 5’8”) to wear with heeled, ivory, sling-backs… and I found two M&S chunky necklaces worn together to go with my outfit, one in tortoise-shell, and one gold… wedding sorted!

Ordered my regular size 12 which fitted perfectly. However I ordered both lengths Reg & Long. On my frame of 5’6” for some reason the Reg looked ridiculous but the Long tapered nicely to my ankles giving a clean look. Nice material.

I had four of these treasures and wore them almost every day at work for the past year, so I decided to get another four. But what a shame! The quality has changed—it’s much thinner now, and fibers from my jacket and scarf stick to it easily. I constantly need a lint roller. Really disappointed!

Not the usual fabric I would choose could do with being a tad shorter as I am a petite size. When I wash them I will iron the crease down the front out. But they do feel quite smart
