I have bought this as a gift for a friend thinking it was small enough to go on a shelf. In fact it is large. About the size of a football. It is a lovely item though.

This is a really beautiful piece, but much larger than I expected considering it was described as 'small'! I haven't tried it with a tealight yet but I know it will look amazing. Very happy and wish I'd bought two (now out of stock!). Would make a wonderful gift too.

Attractive lantern

I decided to treat myself to two of these smaller lanterns after deciding I'd use them more than buying one larger one. I also have a lot of the smaller tea lights to use which helped my decision. The beaded lanterns look very attractive but I wanted a brighter light to be given off so this was another factor in my choice. Very pleased and feel better that there was money off in the sale!

I purchased this to stand next to the beaded lantern . I made a mistake and purchased the wrong size! The description states small which put me off. There is a smaller one. The was no problem with the actual lantern which is lovely. I swapped for the smaller one which looks great next to the beaded lantern. Also 'small' in description but actually I would say medium. The small ones don't say extra small! I would say check the measurements before buying.
