Sequin Embellished Shift Dress

I absolutely love this dress. I am only 5ft and I ordered the small size 14, which was just perfect for me. I received many compliments when wearing this dress, and felt a million dollars. Managed to buy on offer at 50% off, so really thrilled with my bargain.

Ordered this dress in a size 14 (I'm a 12-14 as need larger size for my ample hips). When I received it I was thrilled it was a lovely red just right for Christmas. When I went to try it on I was so disappointed I could not get it over my arms!!!!!!!!!! The sleeves were so tight it was ridiculous! So had to return. I have found that many M&S clothes are very very tight on the arms. Also they seem skimpy on the hips especially for typical pear shaped ladies.

I love this dress, my favourite colour and sparkly for the season.....will be able to wear it for my cruise in January and also my daughters 40th at the end of January too, so versatile and getting the wear out of it loads of times. I love Marks and Spencer as I know it will fit , the quality is there and I can trust the make.worth buying this dress especially........

Lovely dress and fits well. Got the long length and comes to mid knee (I'm 5ft 8 ). Would of preferred it without the zip detail though.

Loved this dress on the hangar and was very excited to find it in long (I'm 5'8'' and find most dresses too short) but the fit was terrible. Strangely baggy around the neck line and back. The fit across the shoulders was boxy and made the outfit look frumpy. Matronly is the most appropriate description, I think. Returned to store.

I bought this dress in October for a cruise and a change from my usual black dresses. I've since worn it for an evening do, wedding and it will take me though the holiday season and for my next cruise in January. The cut is very generous and I could have got away with the next size down, however I bought a 16 long so I wouldn't be showing my knees as I'm 5'7", I really needed a 14 long but I needed a dress that night so I couldn't order. (I'm a typical last minute shopper!) I do love it and everyone compliments me on it! The only downside is the constant snagging. The sequin finish catches all the time and I am forever trying to prise my sleeves from the dress. Sometimes I feel I should go out with a small pair on nail scissors to cut the 'catch' as I'm having to get people to tug the 'catch' whilst I'm out, so that is why I've marked the quality down.Because of the generous cut, I don't use the zip it's easy to get in and out of.

Ordered the long and regular sizes. I'm 5'6", the long came slightly below the knee, the regular sat mid knee. It was a perfect fit, so order the size you normally would. Quite sparkly under the lights, but the plain style balances the glitter so it doesn't feel over-the-top. Great for Christmas special events and at an affordable price given that it probably won't be worn over and over again.

this is a fab Christmas dress, just the right length, slightly above the knee my height is 5ft 2. Short sleeved which is perfect for this time of year and the colour red is just perfect. Would be ideal for the office Christmas party.

Looked lovely on the hanger but have you changed your fit model as all dresses just lately are too small on hips and as we know most English women are pear shaped.

Lovely dress, material very comfortable although it is sequinned. Going to look great for my Christmas day dress, perfect fit, and great for any parties!

Such a lovely dress and a size 10 fitted me perfectly everywhere other than the arms! I don't have big arms but the fit was tight and felt like if I were to lean forward while eating they would be over stretched and uncomfortable. I ordered a size 12 to see if this would help but the same problem happend in a size up too. Sadly returned them both.
