I would have never occurred to me to wash a suit in the washing machine - even the polyester one - yet this works! I got this jacket as part of a suit for my 16-year old son who started Six Form. Pretty soon the suit got food stains and other spots and I washed it in a washing machine following the washing recommendations on its label. It didn't shrink and kept its shape. It didn't look as smooth as a new suit, so I steamed it and it became like new. Excellent choice and value for money for older teens/young adults!
