Made In Italy Leather Heavy Sole Brogues

Had I have read the reviews I would have saved myself the time going into the store twice. For the past 40 yrs I have been a size 9, although this shoe in a size 9 could accommodate my foot with enough room to smuggle half a dozen sausages in the toe area. I changed them for size 8, which fitted well with room for just one sausage.So whatever you usual size, get a smaller size. The quality looks good, sole has lots of tread and they feel comfortable.

Let's deal with sizing first - they're way off - I wear 81/2 or 9 so I'm glad I read previous reviews and ordered an 8. The shop assistant euphemistically described them as a 'generous fitting' so Beware! That said these shoes are lovely - stout but elegant and well made at a competitive price so if you want a pair of Loake Adams but can't justify £200 then you could do a lot worse than these shoes. They are classy and I would wear them in any number of settings. I purposely wanted the 'commando' rather than leather sole and the colour is appealing. They will be worth repairing when I need to do so and I am one very satisfied customer. Good Ol' Santa!

I ordered a size 8, normally a 8 or 8.5 but these shoes are very big made. Had to return them as far to big, can't find them in shop to try size 7.

After looking all over town for a pair of heavy soled brogues I found them in M&S on their website new in from Italy for Autograph they fitted me perfect good colour,great soles just what I wanted for the cold weather oh and a reasonable price.They will last a long time.

great looking shoe and appears very robust but the sizing is very poor. I ordered size 8 and they were clearly too large, i put them against my existing shoes and they were considerably longer!!! Returned to my local store who do not stock this style so went elsewhere
